1. Updates on the Annual Conference 2010:
VENUE : Centre for Appropriate Technology & Development, Nadave
DATE : June 11th - 14th (Queen's Birthday weekend)
CONFERENCE FEES : $128/adult (will soon confirm children's fees)
THEME : "Being Salt & Light in the World of Nursing"
Note : Children's programmes will be running as well, so you're encouraged to bring your children along. Please confirm the number of children you will be bringing and their respective ages to your NCF Branch President or Divisional Co-ordinator.
2. NURSES' SUNDAY 2010:
DATE : May 16th
The venues for worship services in respective branches and divisions will be confirmed soon and relayed to you. Please listen to the radio broadcast at 7.30am & 3.15pm on the 2nd & 4th sundays of every month for updates and also keep checking back on this page. 3. PRAYERS please:
The national committee needs your support in prayers for the conference. Let's believe God for a conference of a difference, like NEVER happened before! Prayerfully believe that God will raise a new generation of bold, God-fearing nurses that will not only mean business in their roles as Christian nurses but, in the process, raise the standard of nursing in general, to a new high!! The Jesus in us MUST BE SEEN by the outside world!
4. CLASSIFIED ADVERTISEMENT:
The Fiji NCF Communications Officer/ Webmaster needs assistants!!
Urgently needed to assist during the annual conference (June 11-14, 2010), but planning has to start soon.
For the benefit of the Fiji NCF members who will not be able to attend the conference this year, I'm hoping that we take the conference live online, so that members will still be able to join us via internet. So we'll need as many CAPABLE & COMMITTED NCFers to provide as efficient a service as possible.
However, even after the conference, we will still need people to be the digital ears & eyes of the Fiji NCF around Fiji and abroad. These people will be expected to be part of a COMMUNICATIONS TEAM that supplies the Communications Officer with photos, videos & other forms of reporting for the purpose of updating the website, Facebook page etc, which in turn provides good quality updated information for all our members.
Prerequisites: MUST be a born-again Christian & member of Fiji NCF or FSNCF, living in Fiji or abroad. Having good computer skills would be ideal. Be a listener, a team player and have a positive attitude. Proficiency with various electronic gadgetry (photography, video-shooting, sound systems etc) is a plus! Ideally people who have time to spare (to work on website, video, photo-editing, etc). Can speak and write 'decent' english (at least no broken-english please!). Have a passion to bring lost souls to know the salvation that can only be found in the name of Jesus Christ!
So if you think you have the right spiritual and mental frame, the necessary skills & talents and are willing to offer them for the benefit of the FNCF body and of course the GLORY OF GOD, by all means, please let us know. Please be reminded that this job DOES NOT pay (Na kemu i sau sa vuni tu!) Sooo, if you're interested or have further questions, please feel free to SEND A MESSAGE to Fiji NCF webmaster via Facebook. FNCF is looking for members who feel they have a calling upon their lives and an interest to join a worship team. We would like to establish a team for the body, to start at this year's conference.
Compulsory prerequisites : 1. Be a born-again Christian 2. Be a passionate worshipper yourself 3. Be a Fiji NCF member.
Optional: 1. Can sing 2. Can play an instrument 3. Can lead people in praise and worship
The team will be expected to select a leader and have an organization structure. They should be able to practise together as much as possible, before the conference. The team may also be requested to handle the radio and sound system at the conference venue.
